Out of the wilderness of East York Toronto, comes fem comic artist, Maia Matches!
Her immigrant parents didn't bat an
eyelid when she announced moving to the lowlands in 1999. A few years later she landed a bachelor degree in sculpture
from the Academy of Fine Arts in
's-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands.
